Securing timber load is often a time-consuming, complex task. It requires a lot of responsibility as poorly secured load can collide with uneven road surfaces and then shift as speed, direction or inclination changes. The result is the load falling off the truck which could seriously endanger you and many other road users.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For safer timber lashing, it is recommended to use special accessories, which also make the whole process much faster and easier. That\u2019s why we have put together a three-part lashing kit comprising a lifting hook, chain holder and lashing chain. Read more about the accessory kit below.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lashing Hook<\/b><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

The lashing hook makes it easy to lift the chain over the stack. Its good design ensures that the hook is securely fixed during transport. The lashing hook increases safety and makes lashing many times faster and easier. The product is made of durable material, the properties of which do not change at hot or cold temperatures (does not bend or deform). <\/span><\/p>\n

Chain Holder<\/b><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

The chain holder is used for easier and faster stake mounting (either to the right or the left). Forest Steel XXL Timber Bunks have special openings to which the product can be attached. The chain holder is made of very durable steel. <\/span><\/p>\n

Lashing Chain<\/b><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

The lashing chain is an essential part of lashing. The set includes a high strength chain made of alloy steel grade 8. The marking is in accordance with the standard EN 12195-3. One link per each meter is marked with grade.<\/span><\/p>\n
